2025 Distinguished Service Announcement

Please join me in congratulating our
AMTA 2025 Distinguished Service Awardee, Dr. Lydell Frasch.

Dr. Frasch is recognized for his tireless support and contributions to the AMTA Community. He has been a leader of many activities of significance to AMTA such as organizing the first Student Day in 2007, serving as coordinator of the Boot Camp and Short Courses for the past 6 years, and he was instrumental in creating the original concept for the AMTA nodes.  Dr. Frasch has volunteered his time and efforts to the Board of Directors and served on many of its committees including;

• The Board of Directors for AMTA from 2011-2014 including as President in 2013.
• The Technical Program Committee and serving as a session chair (2006-2025).
• Host Committees (2007 and 2019-2025).
• The Student Paper Contest Committees (2007-2025) and the Student Travel Scholarship Committees (2019-2025).
• The Honors and Nominating Committee (2014, 2024).

Please join us at the 47th Annual Meeting and Symposium of AMTA this fall where will Dr. Frasch will accept his award.
