Mr. Guerrieri is recognized for his distinguished achievements over his career. He has made many exceptional contributions to the electromagnetic measurement community and related communities that have a direct and lasting impact. He has exemplified and promoted the goals and objectives of the Antenna Measurement Techniques Association (AMTA) including:
Technical and Scientific Contributions: Pioneering work in antenna measurements, including:
Significant contributions toward the development of the world’s first “Configurable Robotic Millimeter-Wave Antenna” (CROMMA) Facility.
Creating the World’s first extrapolation range for measuring the on-axis gain and polarization of antennas for frequencies from 50 GHz to 110 GHz.
Contributions to the advancement of near-field antenna measurements including advancements in uncertainty assessments.
While at NIST, worked on creating and implementing the rigorous testing protocols and benchmarks needed to ensure the security and integrity of the of the new U.S. ePassport.
Technical Leadership: Directing the RF Fields Group of the National Institute of Science and Technology as Group Leader, and as a Program Manager for the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) where he provides leadership and guidance for companies seeking accreditation to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 International Standard.
International Collaborations: Significant contributions to international antenna measurement intercomparison campaigns.
Mr. Guerrieri has been a long-time supporter of AMTA, having received it Distinguished Service Award in 2016 for his many contributions to our organization.
