Vice-Chair: Dr. Zhengpeng Wang, Beihang University, Beijing
Goals and Objectives:
The primary goal of the China Node is to expand the AMTA community to Chinese antenna professionals who have yet to participate in the AMTA Annual Symposium or AMTA-convened sessions at the EUCAP Conference. It will engage these members via Node-led initiatives, such as an annual one-day workshop.
The Node will prioritize industry-academia-government collaboration, focusing on facility sharing and best practices in antenna measurements—including round-robin inter-laboratory comparisons, traceability, uncertainty reporting, and site validation.
It aims to rapidly establish itself as a trusted reference hub for individuals and organizations in the Node region with interests in antenna measurements.
The Node plans to organize local events to capture, showcase, and advance the latest developments in antenna measurements.
It will document regional antenna measurement activities and share insights by submitting papers to the AMTA Symposium and AMTA-convened sessions at EUCAP.
Meetings
The Node will host an annual one-day workshop centered on antenna measurements. Where feasible, the workshop will be co-hosted alongside major national events or conferences. Global AMTA experts will be invited to participate, fostering international knowledge exchange.
