Airport Transportation

Various companies provide shuttle service from the Hyatt Regency Long Beach to surrounding airports.  The Hotel does not offer complimentary shuttle service and a reservation is required from the Hotel to any airport. See a Guest Services associate to assist with a reservation 24 hours in advance of your departure time.

To/ From Long Beach Airport and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach

  • A Super Shuttle is available with advance reservations only. Call 310-782-6600, 1-800-BLUE-VAN FREE, or visit their website for arrangements, information and rates.
  • Contact the Hotel Guest Services Concierge to arrange for your return trip via Shuttle or Sedan Services.
  • Yellow Taxis are readily available at the Hotel and airport.

To/ From LAX Airport and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach

  • Many 3rd Party Airport Shuttles are available at the Ground Transportation area of the airport for a fee. No reservation is needed from LAX.
  • Contact the Hotel Guest Services Concierge to arrange for your return trip via Shuttle or Sedan Services.
  • A reservation is needed for a shuttle from the Hotel to LAX. See a Guest Service associate 24 hours in advance of your departure time or Call 310-782-6600, 1-800-BLUE-VAN FREE, or visit their website for arrangements, information and rates.
  • Yellow Taxis are readily available at the Hotel and airport taxi areas.

To/ From Orange County Airport (John Wayne Airport) and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach

  • 3rd Party Airport Shuttles are available at the Ground Transportation area of the airport for a fee.
  • Reservations are suggested but not required. Call 714-517-6600 or 1-800-862-7771 FREE.
  • Contact the Hotel Guest Services Concierge to arrange for your return trip via Shuttle or Sedan Services.
  • Taxis are readily available at the Hotel and airport.

To/ From Ontario Airport and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach

  • 3rd Party Airport Shuttles are available at the Ground Transportation area of the airport for a fee.

To/ From Burbank Airport and the Hyatt Regency Long Beach

Getting Around Town

Once you are here, Long Beach offers a variety of options for transportation and sightseeing. Visitors and locals enjoy Long Beach’s public transportation and pedestrian and bike-friendly streets.

Take advantage of the city's public transportation services available both on land and water! The Passport Shuttle offers service to major Long Beach attractions and is free throughout several stops in the downtown cultural spots.

With its seaside walkways and waterfront marinas, Long Beach has set the standard for "walkability" and is an ideal spot for strollers and bikers alike. Within conveniently close proximity, you will find first-class accommodations, shopping, numerous entertainment options and more than 100 restaurants within an eight-block area.

Bicycle Friendly
Long Beach, California is quickly pedaling its way to becoming one of the Most Bicycle-Friendly Cities in America. Ranked as one of the Top 25 Best Bike Cities in America by Bicycling Magazine, Long Beach welcomes cyclists to explore our unconventional city with more than 100 miles of bike routes, a scenic beachfront bike path, and our upcoming innovative Bike Share program. Also offered is the Bikestation, the first facility of its kind in the U.S., located on the First Street Transit Mall, and offers attended indoor bicycle parking (free during regular business hours) as well as professional repair services.

Driving to the Beach
Driving access to our 5.5 miles of beach is a breeze! Start at the heart of Long Beach where you can access the beach by going to Marina Green Park off of Shoreline Drive, continue driving to Bluff Park at the corner of Ocean Boulevard and Junipero Avenue or proceed on Ocean Boulevard towards the peninsula and park in one of many parking lots available.
