Technical and Scientific Contributions: Pioneering work in antenna measurements, including: participation in and promotion of international intercomparison campaigns, development of post-processing techniques for antenna measurements, advancements in single-cut near-field to far-field transformations, and innovations in phase-less measurement techniques.
Technical Leadership: Directing the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid Antenna Measurement Laboratory (LEHA-UPM), one of the few university laboratories with ISO 17025 certification, known for its high accuracy characterization of antennas and systems for satellite applications, European Space Agency space missions, defense and personal communication applications.
Academic Excellence: Supervising and teaching MSc and PhD students in antenna measurement techniques at the Technical University of Madrid.
Educational Contributions: Active participation, as founding member of the European School of Antennas (ESOA), coordinating and teaching courses related to antenna measurements in various international locations including Anzio, Beijing, Espoo, Kuala Lumpur, Madrid, Paris, Shanghai, and others.
International Collaborations: Significant contributions to international cooperations on antenna measurements within the EU Antenna Centre of Excellence, the EurAAP Measurements Working Group, and the IEEE Standards Committee; as well as long-term engagement and publications with AMTA, EuCAP, and prestigious scientific journals.
Industry Collaboration: Fostering university-industry partnerships, including founding Antenna Systems Solutions in 2010 and continued collaborating with Microwave Vision Group since 2013
AMTA support: Tirelessly supporting the growth and international position of AMTA through his service to the AMTA Board of Directors as European Liasson (2015-2020) and his promotion of AMTA and related activities in Europe as EurAAP Board of Directors member 2016-2021 and later EurAAP Vice-president (2019-2021).
