AMTA 2009 Host Hotel Rates Reduced

AMTA 2009’s host hotel in Salt Lake City, The Little America Hotel, has completed extensive renovations and reduced its room rates for AMTA 2009, November 1-6. The hotel’s Tower Rooms have been reduced to $139.00 per night and the Garden Rooms are reduced $119.00 per night. If you have already made reservations with the hotel, your rate will be automatically adjusted to the new rate.
PLEASE NOTE: If you made your AMTA hotel reservations using travel services such as Travelocity, Priceline etc. rooms booked through these agencies do not count towards our AMTA 2009 block and will NOT be automatically given the new hotel rates. If you booked through a travel service, please check with the hotel and see if you must cancel your reservation through the travel service you used and then rebook with the hotel to get the discounted rate. Be sure to mention you are with AMTA 2009. The hotel telephone numbers are 1-800-453-9450 or 1-801-596-5700.
The block of rooms AMTA has reserved for the government employee rate also has been expanded. The hotel's Government Rate is $106.00 per night. All new government room reservations will be in the hotel’s Courtside Rooms.
The hotel is also nearing completion of major renovations to the ballrooms and second floor meeting space. As a result, three new meeting rooms have been added to the second floor. A new hotel floor plan will be posted on the www.AMTA2009.org site soon!
Reminder: Early registration for AMTA 2009 closes September 20th. Also, discounted AMTA hotel reservations close October 9th.

The AMTA 2009 Sunday Short Course, titled “Techniques for Improved Accuracy in the Measurement of Gain and Spherical Near Field Patterns" will be presented by Dr. Don Bodnar and Dr. Doren Hess of MI Technologies. Click here for more information.
