Welcome to AMTA 2010
The 32nd Annual AMTA Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia, is set to continue the tradition of a strong technical program and innovative exhibits paired with exciting local and cultural experiences! This year’s Symposium is hosted by The Microwave Vision Group (SATIMO, ORBIT/FR & AEMI) and co-hosted by the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The week starts on Sunday, October 10 with a short course, “Material Measurement Techniques,” presented by Dr. Michael Havrilla of the Air Force Institute of Technology and Dr. Lydell Frasch of The Boeing Company. Throughout the week, be sure to attend our comprehensive technical program and check out the latest equipment and services offered by our exhibitors.
Expect a full social calendar! Enjoy a few cocktails at the Sunday Reception, sponsored by NSI. Our Monday Night Event is a tour of the Georgia Aquarium, the largest in the world, followed by dinner at the Ventanas rooftop restaurant, sponsored by the Microwave Vision Group (SATIMO, ORBIT/FR & AEMI). Wednesday evening is our annual Awards Banquet and on Thursday, we’ll bring the entertainment to you! Catch an improv comedy show by Laughing Matters in the comfort of the hotel. Our companion tours will take guests to popular locations such as The Fox Theatre and Margaret Mitchell House, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum, the Smith Plantation, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site.
Our host hotel, The Westin Peachtree Plaza, offers a perfect downtown location, within walking distance of public transportation, a variety of world-class restaurants, and several major attractions including the CNN Center, the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and the Americas Mart. The Westin Peachtree Plaza is the tallest hotel in the western hemisphere at 73 stories, topped by the Sun Dial rooftop bar and restaurant, which offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the city.
Registration for the symposium, short course, and social events is open. Take advantage of an early bird discount by registering before August 29th. Please visit theTravel/Hotel pages of our web site for registration information and further details.
